Book Sale Red day on Friday 12th February :
The morning was a great success. €992 raised for LauraLynn.
2nd Coffee morning/Cake Sale/Book Sale in aid of Laura Lynn.
We had a lot of grown up books left over from our book sale so we are hoping to run another event sometime in May or June where we combine the remainder of grown up books with a cake sale and coffee morning. We'll confirm a date soon.
Family Quiz: Quiz night was a Great Success.Thanks to Mrs. Fahy for excellent questionsand well done to all the winners.
Mrs. Fahy and the children will present the funds we raised at our choral night to Fr. Dan of the the Blanchardstown HospiceTuesday on 13th March 1.30pm.
Sponsored Walk - April 20th
End of Year Social Night for all Parents - we're starting to plan this for sometime in June and we'll confirm venue and date really soon!
Family Fun Day: June - Date TBC
You may have noticed the work being done around the school in recent weeks. All internal doors, fittings and the front door have been painted.
6th Class have got a fabulous new floor. The orchard at the back of the school is almost complete. 8 trees will be planted this week as part of National Tree Week on Wednesday 7th.
The outdoor classroom is nearing completion and as the weather improves this will be a wonderful resource for the staff and children to use.
A big thank you to Mick Sammon, Billy Quane, John O'Neil and Declan - all parents of girls in the school who have committed their time and their labour to get this wonderful work done.
If any other parents want to offer their services - whether it's painting or gardening or helping make tea at the Communion or confirmation days - please feel free to contact us - every extra pair of hands is most welcome
An important Information Meeting on Drugs Awareness has been organised by the Board of Management on Monday 23rd April at 8pm in the School Hall.These events are organised for your benefit so we would love to see you there for this important topic.
The Parents Association are working with the National Parents Council (NPC) to understand The National Strategy on Numeracy&Literacy . We will post relevant material to our website www.mountsackvilleprimary.ie when we have more information
